SEO Link Builder - Job Description

Apollo Digital is looking to hire a full-time & fully-remote SEO Link Builder. The perfect candidate should have at least 1 year of experience with off-page SEO (or link building), good written and verbal English, and solid research skills.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering up to 15 high-quality links per month for a variety of projects in different niches, such as:
    • Gambling
    • SaaS
    • Health
    • Legal
    • Lifestyle
    • Psychology
    • HR
    • Finance
  • Fully executing link building campaigns: from prospects to email outreach campaigns to live links
  • Employing various link building strategies, such as: guest posting, broken link building, affiliate partnerships, PR outreach, etc.
  • Productively using SEO tools such as: Ahrefs, Semrush, Pitchbox, Screaming Frog, Google Keyword Planner, Google Search Console, etc.
  • Lead generation & prospecting - you will have to go through hundreds and thousands of websites to analyze metrics, select ideal prospects, and gather contact information and other data.
  • Executing SEO and website audits - you'll use tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Google Sheets to carry out technical, on-page, off-page, and backlink audits for internal and client projects.
  • On-page SEO - optimizing web pages based on SEO best practices.
  • Doing interlinking - some of our clients have over 1,000 pages on their websites. We need someone who can go through hundreds of pages and add internal links to other pages on the same site. 
  • Working with Google Sheets and Airtable - 80% of the work you will be doing requires using spreadsheets in one way or another.
  • Attend daily stand-up calls (20-30 minutes per day)
  • Be active on our Discord team chat

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience with off-page SEO or link building in a similar role
  • Ability to build strong relationships with bloggers and authoritative websites. The job isn’t one and done–rather, it’s done easier and better when you establish such partnerships
  • Great negotiation skills. Closing deals with leads requires employing analytical and interpersonal skills to negotiate the best offer that would benefit everyone
  • Self-motivated and independent. While we highly value collaboration, we also expect our team members to take ownership of their work, take initiative, and work independently
  • Internet and tech-savvy. Do you read digital marketing blogs and books? Hang out on Reddit? Understand business internet lingo? Then you are a perfect fit
  • Good written and verbal English. Our team's official language is English, and since we work with clients from the US and UK, good English is important for this role
  • Strong research skills. Going through tons of websites and analyzing their data is one of the main things you'll be doing. Research shouldn't scare you
  • Analytical skills. You can take instructions/feedback and use it to grow into the role
  • Strong time management skills. You can work flexible hours, as long as you can be responsible for delivering work
  • Proficient with Google Workspace products (Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.) or Excel
  • Experience working with project management tools (ClickUp, Asana) is a plus
