SEO Content Editor (English) - Job Description

Apollo Digital is looking to hire several (full-time & fully-remote) content editors in English. The perfect candidate should be fluent in English and able to proofread & fact-check articles and edit grammar & style errors.

Responsibilities

Edit both B2B and B2C topics
Edit 140,000 words of content per month
Create detailed outlines for any given topic
Attend daily stand up calls (15-30 mins per day)
Be active on our Discord team chat

Requirements

Min. 1 year of past professional experience as a Content Editor/Writer. Having prior experience with editing content is required. We still provide project-specific training for editing our content.
Fluent in written and spoken English. Our team's official language is English, and since we work with clients from the US and UK, fluent English is the most important requirement for this role.
Bachelor in English Literature or related field is preferred but not required.
Passion for editing. Since the role involves full-time content editing, you'll need to enjoy the whole content creation process.
Excellent writing and proofreading skills. You need to have a good eye for detail and spot mistakes easily.
Strong research skills. We don't expect you to invent something new. So you need to be able to research the latest information on any given topic in order to fact-check content.
Analytical skills. You can take instructions/feedback and use it to grow into the role.
Strong time management skills. We don't tolerate missing deadlines.
Proficient with Google Drive products (Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc)
Experience working with project management tools (ClickUp, Asana) is a plus.
Existing knowledge on at least 1 of the following topics:
- Resume building & job interviews
- SaaS
- Personality & psychology
- Accounting
- Crypto
- Gambling
- Workflow automation
- Tech & Hosting
- Legal
- Dogs & Pets
- Health & Supplements
